Add to Calendar 2013-03-04 7-10 p.m. 2013-03-04 Jazz Composer's Session/ Forward Jazz Collective at HR-57 The Forward Jazz Collective hosts an open Jazz Composer's jam session at HR-57, to be held on the first Monday of each month, beginning January 7, 2013. The collective consists of founding members Herman Burney, bass; Peter Fraize, saxophone; Greg Holloway, drums; and Jon Ozment, piano.

The session is open to all jazz composers, instrumental and vocal. Composers are asked to bring 5 copies of a 1 to 2-page lead sheet of their original tune. The tune will be sight-read and performed by any combination of the musician/composers sitting in, along with members of the Collective.
