When I click on a link in the email newsletter it takes me to another city’s calendar. Why is that?
It's because the address associated with your All About Jazz member account does not match your current location.
Why do I get forwarded to my member profile when I try to submit an event?
If you are trying to submit an event and you are being redirected to your member account page, please do the following: Log out of All About Jazz (and make sure you are also logged out of Jazz Near You); Delete your browser's All About Jazz cookie; Log back in to All About Jazz. Once you log back in, you'll be logged in at All About Jazz and Jazz Near You and you can freely submit your events.
Can you submit events for me?
Jazz Near You is a free listing service, so it's up to the musician, presenter, promoter, venue owner, etc. to submit their own events. We simply provide the platform to aggregate and syndicate your event information across two websites, a weekly email announcement and an iPhone app.
How do I update or delete an event?
You can update or delete any event you submit. Simply log in to All About Jazz (or Jazz Near You), go to the event detail page and click the orange update button next to the event's title. From the event form, click the appropriate button.
To access your events from one page, click "My" on the menu bar, then click "My Events."
I added a venue and event but do not see the event listed in the Jazz Near You calendar.
It's possible the city associated with the venue is not in our database. If that's the case, please contact us about adding the city.
